The chart below gives a very quick aggregation of the third quarter filing season so far. Of the 1600+ filings we have in our database since September 30, those with corresponding filings from the year ago quarter show that companies continue to control expenses quite well and the bottom lines are growing. But, there is not much top line growth so far. Take this with a grain of salt, because there are over 3000 firms that will file in the upcoming days (many of them have already announced results).
