We had the honor two weeks ago of presenting at a great event for stock analysts in New York run by the CFA Institute, the NYSSA (New York Society of Securities Analysts), and Baruch College. Specifically, our presentation was about using XBRL to compare metrics across companies, but given much of the audience was new to XBRL, we included a section about the basics of XBRL. People found it very useful, so we figured we’d repost the slides here….enjoy.
